A few inspired staffers had called in a seductively tight, beaded sheath dress for a mystery staffer to do a kind of "Happy Birthday Mr. President" number for the celebrating editor in chief. "We called in the dress for Christopher Hitchens," lamented a Vanity Fair spokeswoman, "but alas it didn't fit."

wow, Carter looks a lot older and fatter than he did in his picture in last months' VF.
You've got to be kidding me????!!!!! Now Dr. Arnold Klein's lover (yes, MJ's doc) has come forward about the artificial insemination issue.
I love Hitch, but he's not especially pleasant to look at. He looks uncomfortable in his own skin. He'd be a handsome fellow, I think, if he could manage to lose a few stone.

Considering Graydon Carter's sense of humor seems to have died with SPY Magazine, I'm not surprised.
