While the rightwinger supporters love to color with their used crayola crayons - the colorful poster is LOST on them because - they have never learned to read and/or understand.

Canadian system:

You work -------> you pay high taxes -----> you have b|adder problems ------> you have to p`e`e 7-8 times per night ------> you go see your 'free' doctor -----> he/she tells you it'll take a 30 minute procedure to correct the b|adder problem -----> and you're scheduled to have that procedure in late 2010 -----> so after months of sleepless nights -----> you head south of the 49th parallel and pay a bargain rate (in cash) for the routine procedure which fixes your frequent flow problem.

Everyone's happy...

Canada has a doctor shortage. Check out Denmark, France, etc. where they work, they pay higher taxes, sure, but they don't shell out a fortune and go bankrupt because of healthcare, and everybody gets it relatively quickly. And btw, do you know how long I have to wait to see my internist? Come on! You are SO exaggerating!

Our elected members of Congress have 2 agendas. The firsr is too fill their foll their pockets from lobbistys to give rhem a war chest for theier reelection campaign. They will give Lollips and kiss babies ro get votes Secondly when thet get into the Washingron political club they lose all morals becuse thsy are the elite of this country........They have the Cadillac of medical insurance for the rest of their life, yet thsy want to deny the unfoftunate the unemployrd and distiture/
11:36 PM on 07/16/2009
"...becuse thsy are the elite of this country..."

How so?? As good as their benefits and salaries are, they are but a mere pitance of what CEO's etc get, and what the top 1% of the true "elites" get.

The salaries of these people range about 200-300k. Meanwhile, the CEO of EXXON got a $500 MILLION bonus check, this is above his already into the millions salary and his golden parachute pension. This was just a little extra thank you that they handed to him. This guy most likely has a private doc at his beck and call with him as the only patient.

Yes, we need to clean up the lobbyst and remove all $ from their dealings with congress and remove any incentive and temptation for corruption. But keep in mind that most lobbyst represent big corp.

08:55 AM on 07/17/2009
You did not answer the question.

Who could explain that 2nd grade level chart and actually believe they were making sense?

After this grueling week of trying to watch the baffoon circus I see this and just howl. Gosh it would have probably cost less in time expended to buy a sticker coloring book with crayons. Taxpayers are getting a whole lot for their money.

I wonder what the pr0gressive media's misinformation chart looks like... So many left wing media companies are going out of business, it'd be hard to keep it up to date.

Can any budding arr0gant pr0gressive explain why this is happening? And why the new media continues to grow and expand.
08:15 PM on 07/16/2009

How many of these a$$holes that created this chart are going to whine and complain "we didn't have time to read the bill"?
06:42 PM on 07/16/2009
all of them as the bill in total is not all available to the general public......
08:45 PM on 07/16/2009
Then perhaps you should learn to use Google. I think there is a link on HP somewhere too. There are 2 documents. A summarized one and a complete one.

What a fabulously ugly chart. Perhaps that was intentional; a hodgepodge of garish colors, different-shaped boxes, different styles and sizes of typefonts, borders, no borders, triangles, ovals, circles, rectangles... Is it deliberately ugly to frighten the simple-minded?
04:09 PM on 07/16/2009
Well, Boehner's chart is way simpler than CIGNA or Aetna's organization chart.
Now there are scary charts you never want to look at.

But the taxpayers don't have to worry about those charts... if those private companies can't manage their organizations, they go out of business.

If government can't manage their health care organization, they simply become larger, more inefficient and the costs go up.
04:22 PM on 07/16/2009
"...if those private companies can't manage their organizations,..."

They lobby Congress to make consecions and pass whatever cost to us.

Obviously, any plan based on a chart full of color and excessive clutter MUST be good since the resultant plan would be equally endowed with excessive clutter and completely useless. All the rational and semi-rational people have fled the GOP. This farce is the best effort from those who remain.

I don't know which is worse, this one or the stick figures they used in the Stem Cell debate.
