Maria Belen Chapur: New Photos Of Sanford's Mistress

As South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford headed out of state Wednesday for personal time with his wife, new photos of his Argentinean mistress have been released.

Sanford spokesman Joel Sawyer refused to say where the Sanfords were headed or how they were getting there, but allowed they won't be traveling with their four sons. Sanford is in the midst of trying to reconcile with first lady Jenny Sanford after a tearful confession of an affair with Maria Belen Chapur.

Chapur was photographed buying groceries in Buenos Aires on Tuesday.

E-mail released last week showed when Sanford missed a return flight from Argentina to South Carolina in June 2008, and Commerce Secretary Joe Taylor was worried about the governor.

"Need contact number for him ASAP," Taylor wrote Sanford's assistant June 27.

There's no record of a response to Taylor, but the next day, Ford Graham, the Commerce staffer who accompanied Sanford to Buenos Aires, wrote to Sanford: "I forgot to mention that they really were concerned at first. Apparently they had an informal meeting to discuss what they could do/ how they should respond to a missed flight. In the end they decided that you would work things out."

I don't believe in infidelity, or any form of unfaithfulness for that matter, be it @ work, home or away. And I know for sure that when one spouse cheats on the other, that person will give account to God. But on the other hand, please let us remember that we are all guilty of one thing or the other. And only him or her who is without sin should cast the firt stone at the one caught in the act. I hope Sanford repents and makes amend with his wife and children. In the meantime, let's pray for him and his family.
