"This drastic measure, coupled with stricter border controls and revenge killings of traffickers by victims’ families, had a significant effect"

The only truly effective deterrent is the killing of traffickers. You can try to legislate speedboats and borders, but they will find a way to continue human trafficking. If you kill the traffickers, they can't find a way around death. There should be a non-governmental agency that either offers bounties on the heads of the top 100 most evil people in the world, or hires the hit squads themselves (that way, Blackwater can continue what they're doing for a good cause instead of causing misery). I don't know who would make the top 100, but there is a Russian arms dealer who should at least be in the top ten. If we got rid of those 100 successfully, the world would automatically be a better place, and then we could start another list until we get rid of them. If the smugglers fear for their lives, they might not do what they do. If the local citizens know what they're up to, they could make their lives miserable enough to stop. We can't even make our own greedy CEO's lives miserable enough to stop them from doing what they're doing, so good luck stopping trafficking without something drastic.

People who use, prostitute, human traffic must the most hard core people in the world. Your right our nation does not stop greedy CEO's our nation appears to wallow and delight in greed. People who steal the innocence of child and barter and trade them on a action block for houses, goods cash or the lame excuse of 'it will harm gods work' to expose the darken souls and hearts of these masters of self greed and exploitation.

There are more than likely a top 100, some have one foot in the religious world and one foot in the business world, are their greedy hands in the political world.
