Chocolate

The Guardian:

We have been indulging in it in various forms for at least 3,000 years, arguing over its influence on everything from our sexual appetites to our waistlines.

But now scientists for the world's largest chocolatier believe they have stumbled on the holy grail of chocolate: a recipe that is both melt-resistant and low-calorie.

Sounds rather scary to me, although living in Hawai'i often my chocolate melts before I get home from shopping, so I can see that they would want to find an alternative. Just the mentioning of nestle and cadbury though will keep me from buying it. They both used tainted milk powder from China, so I only buy European chocolate that melts...........

This product is not going to be either healthy, or digestible. The scientists need to keep their hands off of chocolate. It was already perfect.

Consumable chocolate as we know it today wouldn't exist if it hadn't been for scientific manipulation.

"The product, like so many good inventions, resulted from a mistake, this time by technicians in the company's lab who were working on another invention"

Let me guess, a new type of cardboard...

Isn't this why they invented M & M's several years ago? ("Melts in your mouth, not on your hands")

Had no fat in it, but more like dry powdered nonfat milk, we used to have them in Boy Scouts. Probably left over from some Scoutmaster's WW2 service. Exceptionally bad-tasting.

Why would you want to eat it? Chocolate must melt in you mouth.
