Another whitewash by the Obama people. Bush created the meltdown, but Obama's creating the depression.

To argue this issue as a Republican-Democratic dichotomy misses the point.
To argue it as a left-right issue is also disingenuous.

The issue is, simply put, a matter of character, a quality Americans seem to lack. The only moral imperative in operation these days. and for the last 100+ years, is the aggrandizement of power and wealth (i.e., Greed).

You get what you vote for, so be very careful what you vote for.

Re-Elect No One.

Am I missing something or has HuffPo ignored a story published in leading periodicals on July 17 that the Senate Democratic leadership has stripped "card check certification" out of its version of EFCA? If that's true, it is more harmful to the economy than this article -- that a Congressional panel investigating graft includes members who are receiving the graft they are investigating (true about virtually every Congressperson). Only a strong, independent labor movement, buoyede and expanded by EFCA including card-check certification has any ability to correct the massive corruption that infects our corporate-owned Congress (bailout to financial institutions that caused the collapse, based on decades of voodoo economics policies that massively transferred wealth from the middle class to the wealthy but none to mortgagees who were victimized by predatory lending practices).

If HuffPo doesn't cover the Democratic retreat on EFCA, it is just part of the anti-labor, liberal crowd.

It's unfair to claim that HuffPo is "just part of the anti-labor, liberal crowd" if it does not initiate an article critical of "the Democratic retreat on EFCA."

Here's several suggestions:

(1) Respectfully, you could write an article and submit it. If this is of interest to you, you might begin by contacting HuffPo and asking if they have author guidelines?

(2) If you would prefer someone else to write it, you might obtain author guidelines from HuffPo (if any) and contact someone who has had the passion to write about card check certification and how the Senate Democrat leadership stripped it out of its version of EFCA.

If it is necessary to go beyond using Google to find a potential author, you might contact the leadership of a large union or two. Some unions publish newspapers for the membership and such newspapers are not universally found on the web.

The Democratic leadership stipping-action is signifigant and should be brought to the attention of more people. It's good that you are doing so. You just need to expand your efforts in a way that will accomplish what you want.

It just goes on and on doesn't it. Obama, this is on you. You must break your ties to all of these Wall Street types. They will drag you down.

Wall Street can't afford an untainted panel investigating the Financial Crisis for they might do something improper like tell the truth.

Headlines like this are astonishing. Of course they have wall street ties. Would you rather a bunch of chiropractors be sent to investigate wall street? Really?

How about anyone who ran a profitable business without fraud, bailouts or corporate welfare.
