Study: Most Children Strongly Opposed To Children's Healthcare (VIDEO)

First Posted: 08/17/09 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 02:40 PM ET

A study by the National Center for Policy Analysis found that children are overwhelmingly against health services like vaccinations and doctors visits. When asked if they wanted to go to the doctor 68% screamed "NOOOO!" This is obviously a political and moral issue for them as they see universal care as un-American.

It is natural for kids to not like doctors visits; heck, many adults don't care for them, either. But, this has nothing to do with the inadequate/broken healthcare system we have in the states. Our healthcare system is ranked very low; and for good reason...it is not working.

Poor poor poorsarah - do you ever laugh? How about just a little smile.

The entire GOP policies and programs are based on their belief the majority of Americans are a backwards lot and can't remember issues long enough to vote them out of office. 2010 isn't that far away so we'll soon know if the GOP has really got it figured out.

The Insurance and Healthcare Industries are coming into their "Frenzy Mode", for years they have been dissecting the american people, stealing and robbing them blind, all the while getting insanely rich to a point of being disgraceful. They are realizing people are fed up with the nonsense' when CEOs are pocketing Millions and Billions of dollars, from their "sick" profiteering.

However, I think it would be important that a follow up study be conducted to find out whether children's opinions about the public option are affected by what flavor of lollipops are offered...

Or how the question was phrased. "You're not in favor of children's healthcare, are you?" (Vigorously shakes head.)

It's a joke.

The poll must have been conducted by a conservative group (the name sounds likr it, the IDEA sounds like it). End of story.

Children ARE NOT opposed to healthcare. In my own study, conducted with the kind assistance of a few neighborhood kids, I was able to find out the truth behind the numbers:

52% of children surveyed object to the doctor's bad breath
35% don't like getting stuck with needles
4% like getting stuck with needles
10% object to the creepy nurse
18% can't stand the smell of hospitals
12% are scared of lab coats

At the conclusion of the survey, children were asked if they objected to a Universal health plan for everyone except certain individuals, and the response was shocking:

89% puked on my shoulder
16% puked in the stroller
22% exhibited symptoms of projectile vomiting (namely, projectile vomiting)
1% did not agree, then puked.

This survey is in no way complete, as I am awaiting a grant from a large phamaceutical corporation.

Of course children are opposed to healthcare, but they have no say in it the same as us, their parents.
The congress and senate don't care what we think. They are going to vote this ludacrist plan in whether we like or not. The same way they did with those stimulus and budget bills.

So do you have a good insurance plan, or are you like most right wingers who are against a nationalized plan, because you're already on medicade?
05:29 PM on 07/17/2009
Most republicans are also strongly oppoed to children's healthcare. Is there a big overlap between republicans and crying children? More study is needed.
10:03 PM on 07/17/2009
which category would you put the always crying Glen Beck? both...
04:59 AM on 07/20/2009
He's in a category of crying children all his own. I'd put him in the naughty chair until his tantrum is over. I hear that, off camera, he throws himself on the floor, drums his heels and holds his breath until he turns blue.

(I also heard that he's afraid of needles!)

90% surveyed chose 'iwanmommie' as their health care of choice. Stop Obama from coming between our precious children and their mommies!

Right. The bill would obviously outlaw mommies as primary care providers.

I used to be that way when I was a kid, too. But now I just love vaccinations and doctor's visits!
