Actually I think she's a better lyricist than singer. I like her singing but her writting skill are pretty good. She's also written for other French singers much before she started singing. That aspect of her is a bit underrated imo.
Not a fan of Sarkozy, I'm not sure marrying him was a wise move on her part (but what do I know it's not my life anyway) but I think she's a damn good artist.
