Palin Starts Packing To Leave Governor's Mansion

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Resigning Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she and her husband are packing their family's possessions at the governor's mansion in Juneau, the state capital.

Palin says Sunday on her Twitter page, "Todd & I r packing JNU house today; looking thru Piper's kindergarten schoolwork here reminds how quickly X flies; she enters 3rd grd in fall."

Piper is the youngest of Palins' three daughters. The Palins also have two sons.

Palin officially steps down July 26 – 18 months before the end of her first term.

Someone notify the State Police and Auditor Generals office that Palin The Grifter is removing items from the Governors Mansion. All citizens of Alaska demand an investigation and search of all boxes and packages removed from the mansion!

Sarah the Grifter cannot be trusted, as she has proven.

If I were an Alaskan, I'd be really disgusted with Palin. When you run for and accept an office as important as governor of a state, you don't simply "quit" half-way through because you "wanna try some other things, you know".
I, like everyone else, listened to that jumbled hodge-podge of words she gave as her "reasons" for leaving. I was left scratching my head and still had no clear idea of WHY the woman was quitting her post.

To her shame, it appears she is abandoning the people of her state to write a book and do some travelling, maybe to campaign for other republicans. I hope she doesn't think this move will put her somehow CLOSER to the White House! Who is lying to this woman? What are the republicans thinking? While I would never vote for Palin in any capacity, some would, and this move has shown a flightiness and quit-if-I-­feel-like-­it mentality that would be terrifying in a president.

Does Sarah realize that the US Gov't isn't like working on her high school newspaper? You don't get to just "quit" these positions when your interests change...G­od how I hope she just fades into the netherworld of the has-beens.­......

Did the state auditors office send in auditors to conduct an inventory to be sure the "Lame Duck" didn't steal appliances, fixtures, flooring materials, cabinetry, etc?

The governors mansion was recently remodeled, so how much of the materials will end up in Wasilla to finish the house Palin built with stolen money from Wasilla taxpayers?
