Has it seemed like Fox News has cheerfully and aggressively focused on each 1 point drop in Obama's approval ratings while I don't recall them doing the same when Bush's plummeted over the last few years? They blithely dismiss his personal approval ratings which are high and instead say his policy ratings are dropping which they seem to relish. Let's see what they do if his ratings were to rise in the coming months. Will they just dismiss them as unimportant whereas they gave them much importance for the last few weeks? Remember, we're dealing with Fox News 'Fair and Balanced' and all that BS.

There's a cartel of right-wing mavens who have an endless supply of money from corporate lobbyists who have "hired" private citizens to fabricate and mask reality with poorly rehearsed lies about healthcare. The same lobbyists who made sure Hillary's health plan was squashed. We can't let them get away with this.

Well I want Single Payer and the Option doesn't sound that good to me. I mean you have the option of going on Welfare already if you have absolutely nothing. Most people don't want to be reduced to that, isn't that kinda the point.

However, Obama is trying to do something. Thank God. He is trying to please the most people so he can break this stalemate. But I personally think he might as well give the Medical Insurance Industry the finger because nothing he does will satisfy them in any way. They demand to be in total control of the whole health care world and nothing short of that will please them or their paid-for politicians.

If Obama's ratings are down, it is only because so many lies are flying around everyone doesn't even know which side represents their wishes. I think Obama is going to be in a tough spot. No one is going to be completely happy. But if he eventually gets single payer for Americans he will be right up there with Jesus Christ in my book. 70 percent of Americans want it. Maybe he should try to please this group and tell the rest to stick it if he's worried about ratings.

Either Single Payer, or Public Option. The polls show that over 70% or Americans want a Government-run Health Plan. So if he gets either one to pass, than his approval ratings will go up. But if he doesn't get back up to where he was before, at least he tried for us. I hope he says "Screw the Republicans." Seriously, they're going to hate him regardless of what he does. So he might as well do what the Majority of Americans put him in there to do. So let's hope the Republicans don't kill this bill.

I am obviously biased, but I wish he would stop trying to make everyone (i.e. conservatives) happy and push through the right policies and plans instead of those that are politically acceptable in the short term.

That's true, it's a shame how eager he is to get bipartisan support.

This is it, America. Obama has gotten us the opportunity, now we have to deliver the results. We are being challenged straight up by corporate interests. They don't think we have the power or perseverance to pass a public health care option. Call your Congresspeople and leave a message this week. If for no other reason than the generations that will follow you. Don't allow them to be ripped off and threatened with bankruptcy for the sole reason of illness, as we were, and are. America's better than that. Make the call. We'd best take to the streets before we end up on them.

Lol sorry dude, but this game's no where near over. Obama won't go down that easy. He still has a chance to fix this and he's giving it his best. So he may go down the polls a bit, so what? He's gonna get this Health Care Reform passed.

I'm glad he is willing to risk poll ratings to do what is right and absolutely necessary.

Except Obama is risking approval ratings to save lives rather than sacrifice them for an unnecessary war.
