PREVIOUSLY:A few weeks after the first official stills came out comes the teaser trailer for the Tim Burton version of "Alice in Wonderland."

Out in March 2010, the movie stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway, as well as 19-year-old unknown Mia Wasikowska as Alice and it's in 3-D.

I look forward to anything Tim Burton does. I also admire his ability to do great family-friendly films like Nightmare Before X-Mas, and Beetlejuice, but can still crank it up the gothic scares to full-tilt-­blood-dren­ched-boogi­e with stuff like Sleepy Hollow or Sweeney Todd. Not many directors can do both...well.

I'm excited to see this movie. I've always been a fan of Alice and Wonderland and I'm curious to see how this one will play out, since there are numerous versions.And Depp always plays a good weirdo.

How exactly is someone who starred in an HBO show an "unknown"? Because HBO's TV not movies? Mia Wasikowska gave an amazing performance as Sophie on "In Treatment." Available everywhere, iTunes, dvd--how is that unknown?

Totally agree with you. Mia Wasikowska's performances in IN TREATMENT showed more talent than any young actress I've seen in a very long time. It's a shame that she's not getting her due in this movie and all the advertisin­g/promotio­ns from Disney is with Johnny Depp. It's so boring and predictable.

Likewise...he kind of phoned it in...maybe the character of Dillinger wasn't interesting enough for JD's persona. Besides his over-the-top characters, one of my personal favorite Depp films is Don Juan deMarco...what a delight!

Tim Burton is murdering the classics. He's put his own trite visual tapestry stamp on Sleepy Hollow, Planet Of The Apes, Willie Wonka, Sweeny Todd and now Alice In Wonderland. I've heard his next project is a remake of Citizen Kane. CITIZEN KANE! I'm embarrassed for him.

The way I see it, any director who thinks they can REMAKE Citizen Kane needs to have their ego checked. I don't see how you could remake that to make it BETTER than it already is. Tim Burton on the project? That'll be even horrific than Madonna's remake of American Pie.

Nah there's nothing there, Helena Bonham Carter is in a longtime relationship with Tim Burton, and they are both close friends with Johnny Depp, who has a longtime relationship of his own with Vanessa Paradis.

Movie looks great imo, the Chesire Cat looks cool =D
