Morning Joe Mocks FOX Network For Skipping Obama's Press Conference Tonight (VIDEO)

FOX is alone among the major television networks in making the decision to continue with their regular programming tonight instead of interrupting their schedule to air President Obama's prime time press conference tonight. The show they felt is important enough to preempt the President's conference is "So You Think You Can Dance."

The hosts of "Morning Joe" couldn't quite believe this, and they had some fun mocking FOX for it. The conversation did elicit the admission from NBC White House correspondent Savannah Guthrie that she actually is a pretty good dancer and thus will remain at her post at the White House instead of tuning into FOX tonight.

The people who really needed to watch and listen to what the President had to say are the people who watch Fox news. Every day all day long they listen to misinformation via Fox news. I don't think Fox news denied the press conference because of some dance program. I think Fox news denied the press conference because they do not want their viewers to hear the truth.

I know Obama hates that ANYONE should make a profit, even the media, which is the reason he schedules these "pressers" during prime time, so the networks can't run commercials and make any money.

He already dislikes Fox anyway, so I'm sure they figured they would get better ratings with the "dancing" show.

Fox News aired the press conference twice, at 8pm and 11pm.

Since all the other major channels and PBS carried the Obama show in my market, I don't much care that Fox, plus, by the way, a lot of other channels, did not.
