Berlusconi 'Sex Tapes' Released
In perhaps his most ridiculous scandal yet, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi now faces the release and publication by L'Espresso magazine of audio tapes that appear to be of him with Patrizia D'Addario, a prostitute, Times Online reports. The tapes appear to reveal the Italian prime minister having sex with the prostitute and instructing her to touch herself often. From the transcript:
PD: A young man would have come in a second.. I mean he would have come... Young men usually have a lot of pressure.
SB: But if you will you allow me... (muffled) I believe it is a family thing.PD: What?
SB: Having an orgasm.
PD: You know how long it has been since I had sex this way like with you tonight. It's several months, since I broke with my boyfriend. Is this normal?
SB: May I? You should have sex with yourself. You should touch yourself often.
As Times Online notes, the recording date of the tapes is unknown, but they are estimated to be from October and November of last year, when D'Addario was hired by a businessman to accompany Berlusconi at his villa. The businessman, Gianpaolo Tarantini, is currently under investigation for corruption and vice.
