South Africa Protests: Government Vows Crackdown

Police fired rubber bullets and teargas on Wednesday at township rioters demanding better services and more jobs, in one of the biggest challenges to President Jacob Zuma since he took office in May. Scores have been arrested.

I believe it is just a matter of time before South Africa goes the way of the rest of so many African countries. It is well on its way already: corruption, enrichment of government officials, quotas that choke its very economic system, deterioration of infrastructure as under-qualified candidates fill quota positions, street poverty amongst whites and blacks, massive crime, AIDS, massive migration from bankrupt countries such as Zimbabwe.

A huge problem for Zuma. Give him a break. He's only been in office for two months.
