One suspects his approval ratings are higher among soi-disant "journalists" than among the people.

The media today is more about sensationlism than NEWS. They might as well be the Star or the Globe because they put themselves in the same category of journalism. Obama is trying to bring things back to being sane, to stop the media from going overboard with their "nothings".

Gee, I'm waiting for the New York Times or the Washington Post to do an investigative report on how the MSM manipulates data in order to social engineer their audience. I won't hold my breath on that story.

So President Obama is being criticized for criticizing the media for inaccurate reporting? Would his critics prefer that he allow fairy-tales and myths to be fabricated about his policy and plans? And, while recovering from an 8 year period of almost complete blindness and fabrication, hasn't the American public earned the right to know the President and be as informed as possible? Mr. Obama is sending a message to Americans and, indeed, the world: "I will not shroud my motives. My motives are YOUR motives. I want everyone to know that I am working for them and in their interest." Afterall, we THOUGHT our best interest was being pursued over the past eight years, so we dismissed covert behavior from the administration. Now, when it is painfully clear that NO ONE's best interest was being pursued, especially that of the average American citizen the average Iraqi citizen, we should EXPECT our new leader to keep us as informed as possible, for fear of a repeat of the last eight years. At the end of Mr. Obama's term in office, I expect the betterment of the world -not merely deeper pockets for a few Wall Street crooks and a gaping hole in the Middle East.

The President makes his speech. The 24 hour news cycle *SPINS* the he// out of it until there was nothing that remotely sounds like anything the President said. Then Obama has to come back to clear it up, and it start all over again.
