Sarah Palin Moving to Moon

Claiming that it is in the best interest of the country and the world, Sarah Palin announced that she will be moving to the Moon. "I'm not a quitter," she said, "but the people on this planet have been harassing me a lot lately, and also I've become a distraction to the people of Earth. So I think it's in everyone's best interest if I just go to the Moon. Besides, you can get a really good view of Russia from there, ya know."

I doubt any network would hire her. How many times can you mouth the same tired rhetoric over and over again. Palin wouldn't recognize an original idea if it were implanted into her brain.

Then again...there's fox news.

It's clear that you don't tune in to Faux News. Tired, partisan rhetoric is their speciality and their talking heads aren't any brighter than Palin.

I NEVER listen to Faux New. My doctor said it isn't good for my brain. Or my blood pressure.

She will make money preaching to the choir and then get a show on Fox, just like Huck. She will not be running for anything other than an open mike for a long, long time.

While the Huckster doesn't stand a chance, he does have a certain intellect about him

SP on the other hand has none but a rabid following of anti-intellectuals and anti-Chris.tians AND the Rupert Murdoch book deal which assures her promotion to sell those books and promote her story and personality

VICTIM! That is her entire speeech. I am a victim. Don't be a victim like me. Watch your govt or you too will become a victim. I am a victim of the media. I am a victim of false ethics charges.

Is it possible someone can win the oval office spouting nonsensical platitudes of victomhood? yes she can and we all better take her very dangerous followers very seriously.

Huck...is far too limited by his integrity but this woman will do anything to win, she sees that is the key to the door, but is it really...American voters will weigh all candidates and the winner is...we we just don't know yet...but I think the bar has been raised to include competence so who cares about the Republican nominee...I think Obama will have that quality/commodity sown up by 2012.

If she is just like Huckabee does that mean that she will soon be hosting on Fox "news"? At least if she is just on Fox she will be a lot easier to ignore and hopefully go back to obscurity where she belongs.

That's no compliment to Huckabee. What has happened to the R party? When did they become the anti-education, anti-intellectual party?

The GOP began its makeover to the kind of political party it is today in 1964, when the fervent anti-intellectuals of the GOP not only nominated Goldwater over Nelson Rockefeller for their presidential candidate, but also publicly mocked and scorned Rockefeller and his supporters. The change grew faster after the 1974 post-Watergate elections, when moderate Republicans were purged at the polls, leaving the GOP with a smaller base but one that was much more conservative. That base duped the American public into buying into their anti-government propaganda, and in 1980 Reagan was muscled into the Oval Office. Then as the 1990's came about, the increasing use of gerrymandering by both parties during the every-ten-years Congressional redistricting process resulted in creation of more districts that were either strongly liberal or strongly conservative, further reducing the chances for "moderates" within the GOP to get elected in open seats. Come 2000, the gerrymandering got worse, the conservatives became more shrill, and they took an even firmer grasp of the GOP. Moderates like Maine GOP Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins became even scarcer in the ranks of the GOP. And now with the 2006 and 2008 election debacles for the GOP, the party has, for all intents and purposes, become a haven for white Bible-thumpers who love God, worship guns, hate gays and eschew science, reason and civility in favor of doctrinaire religious fundamentalism and theocracy.

Shouldn't the headline read "Just another wanna-(Hucka)bee?" Not that anyone should want to be like that ignorant zealot, yet she is, so it fits. These crazies with their ties to the "Family" at C Street House need to be exposed for who they are: Hypocritical pseudo-religious nutjobs. The owners of the house need to forfeit their tax-exempt status immediately and pay back taxes. Each resident of C Street House and their dangerous activities must be exposed, before we end up with another Hitler on our hands. This is not a joke, people. Wake up!
