Jimmy Fallon Goes To Comic-Con! (VIDEO)

Jimmy Fallon jetted out to San Diego for the 2009 Comic-Con last week where he pitched his new comic-book-inspired film to Jon Favreau, a writer at DC Comics, and Stan Lee. Unfortunately, they all hated it, probably because it was a terrible idea. He wanted to star as a super hero whose only power was the ability to recharge cell phones. While practical, no one would pay to see that.

Say what you want about the skit, I just liked the fact that he was at comic-con to begin with---Whedon is a master of screenwriting and his reactions to fallon were hands-down the funniest lol

blah ... give him a break, I don't follow Fallon but I think he is funny. Its about taste in humor folks, I love Chapelle but I also have friends who consider him overrated; I like Chris Rocks "Everybody Hates Chris" some people think its bland at best. Some people love Conan, Leno and Letterman, I think they have their funny moments but otherwise not my cup of tea humor; I still don't come out saying they are not funny. Jimmy Fallon is funny, not my kind of funny at times, not your kind of funny, but people who knock him seriously need to relax. We can't all like the same type of humor. Kat Williams is funny, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock is funny but their comedy is so different and its unfair come out knocking either one. I like some of Will Ferrel stuff, one of my friends thought he should have just stayed at SNL doing Cheerleader skits. Point is, Fallon is funny, maybe not to us but I bet you college kids wqould find him funny. Maybe its a generational thing, especially that comic book thing was hilarious to me.

Each of these comedians is capable of great stuff, and not so funny stuff. I watched this clip and so did my daughter - and we're 27 years apart so it's not a generational thing necessarily. I thought the various actors' expressions and responses were great. And Stan Lee, gotta love him.

I can't watch nbc or msnbc either, which means I'm missing Rachel Maddow!?! I don't have a Mac. I am a Toshiba pc with Windows Vista. I've tried everything I can think of to get those sites to work (did I mention I can't watch Rachel Maddow!?!) but nothing seems to fix it. It's so frustrating.
