But instead of focusing on the horrors Bernazard inflicted upon Mets farmhands and team employees, Minaya tried to redirect the story from Bernazard's reprehensible actions - which were validated or the Mets wouldn't have fired Bernazard - to me

If this story had not been done Bernazard would still be employed by the Mets, that is the said part. If the mets had taken care of this a few years back this incident wouldn't have happened. As for Omar accusing the reporter of having ulterior motives is cowardly also it doesn't change the facts, Bernazard was a cancer to the organization. Omar your on the clock watch your back.

a) For not having fired Bernazard on his own.
b) For not having fired Bernazard before it became a public story.
c) For not having made moves to compensate for the injuries.

Minaya would have kept covering for Bernazard were it not for Rubin's coverage. And for what?
