Maddow Responds To Lou Dobbs: "Deeply Confusing" To Be Called "Tea-Bagging Queen" (VIDEO)

Last night Rachel Maddow responded to CNN's Lou Dobbs calling her a "tea-bagging queen" on his radio show yesterday. She said Dobbs called her that because she "made fun of him on this show for helping into the mainstream the off-the-deep-end, wingnut racist conspiracy theory that Barack Obama is secretly foreign, and therefore secretly not really president."

She was also curious about the nature of the insult itself:

In the meantime we're all left to sort out the deeply confusing nature of what it means to be called a tea-bagging queen by Lou Dobbs. A tea-bagging queen? What kind of queen would that be exactly? And can a female person be that kind of queen?

Rachel Maddow is the the best reporter on television today. She is brilliant, enlightened and funny.

She is a Rhodes scholar, Stanford and Oxford educated. Her newscasts are fascinating and fair because she always brings in opposing sides to air their opinions. When she reports a story she uses FACTS: history, news clippings, sound bytes, interviews, etc.

The big story here is C Street and The Family and Rachel has been reporting on them for weeks. They are a very scary secretive religious group that includes Sanford, Ensign, Pickering and Inhofe.

As for the C Street gang - I am embarrassed to be living in Oklahoma, with Inhofe and Coburn being part of this group. They DO NOT represent their constituents - each has their own agenda and I for one do not appreciate my tax dollars funding it. What is scary is that the far religious right has amassed that much power to keep this group going.
I am so sick of watching and listening to all the attacks - and the HATRED - pretty soon the Reps are going to be made up of Klu Klux Klan members and White Supremisct groups. We should be checking our elected officials for tattoos before they run for office.
