Obama-Haters Becoming Increasingly Racial In Their Rhetoric

An interesting pattern has emerged in the last few weeks, as President Obama's ratings have started to come down to Earth: You can really see a type of Obama-hatred out there that really does cross over into a purely racial territory.

This has gotten especially worse in the aftermath of Obama's comments and subsequent mea culpa on the Henry Louis Gates arrest, but the pattern has been there all the same. You can look back to the 2008 campaign, with the Jeremiah Wright controversies, the phony rumors of a tape of Michelle Obama defaming whites, and the slow but steady emergence of the Birthers. And these days, the Birthers seem to be getting more and more bellicose.

That's just way too bad for you but I hope you stay long enough to realize in the next years to come you going to have deal with the fact that you are going to be the minority due to the increase bi-racial adults because of interracial marriages, something that you're against, the increase of immagration from Mexicans, and other racial minorities.

I won't comment on who or which side is more likely to be considered to have a 'race problem.

I might however comment on the often noted fact that those who demonstrate such tendencies are also often quite fearful of changes and are far more comfortable in situations that allow them to have clearly defined boundries such as ' them and us'.
I find it desperately sad that after so many thousands of years trying to build civilizations, which by definition are " people clubs", that so many people are bound and determined to limit what those 'clubs' can achieve by closing the doors to anyone not " just like me".
It has probably been the most detrimental factor in the course of human history, whether the 'club' is defined by color, religion, gender, or locale.

The racist chatter, commentary, behavior, etc. will continue to increase because there will be no consequences. Has anyone been fired, demoted, voted out of office or just taken to task by someone inside their own political camp? I don't think so. These people will just become more obnoxious, and just plain scary!

Definitely Obama hadn't helped his situation with his comment on the Gates arrest on the national television. He should've said, "Professor gates is a good friend of mine. Obviously my opinion will be biased. But I wasn't at that location when this incident happened and so I can't make any comment on it". Case closed and no hoopla over this.

There is a particularly annoying fellow going by the name of PINO (which presumably stands for "President In Name Only.") He has a mocking image of Obama designed for the purpose of ridicule as his avatar. He claims that he is Black.

Absolutely not. I remember him from a while ago (he was probably banned) and he was complaining on a story about the House (at least I think it was the House) apologizing for s lavery. I particularly know this clearly because he got into an argument with me. He ranted about how his family immigrated to the US recently, therefore he shouldn't apologize (don't ask me how he came to that self-centered conclusion when the story was about the House apologizing) and that his family contributed more to the U.S. than any of my black ancestors. Then he proceeded to rant again on welfare and such. So no, he's not black. He's white, and a rac ist.

Reaching out with an open hand and not a clinched fist

Sharing the benefits of what we have learned, to better the lives of others

Teaching others self sustaining skills

Come to the aid of the oppressed, and vanquish the oppressors

Lead the world in innovation through creativity

Go out into the world and break bread at another's table

Show respect for other traditions and cultures, for wisdom is acculuated knowledge, and every perspective is unique and has value

Stand in awe of the infinite power of nature to create, and seek a balance between our needs and the capacity of that power to sustain us

Anyone else is free to add to this list that would, I think, make us exceptional.
