The Denver Post:

It is the sort of workplace meeting most of us can only daydream about: President Barack Obama is slated to sit down in his office today with a couple of guys for a round of cold beer and a "teachable moment."

Even though I am no fan of Bud Light, I'm glad Obama chose the most "American" beer for the occasion. God forbid he go for Chamay or Modelo or something foreign and Faux news goes bananas about how this is yet another sign that Obama hates America cos he didn't drink an American beer. It sounds far fetched, but you know it's not beyond them.

Nevermind, I just remembered Budweiser was bought out by Anheuser-Busch :x

Blue Moon is a fake microbrew, and the bottle I saw in a bar today said it was bottled in Canada. It's brewed By Miller SAB, which is South African.

MUCH better American choices:
Shiner Bock/Shiner Kolsch
Sam Adams Summer Ale
Anything brewed by Rogue (esp. Dead Guy Ale).

These are the best American brewers, IMO, unless you count really small craft brewers.

Or o local with a Dominion.

My vote is for Big Daddy Barley Wine style Ale. It'll put hair on your chest, and possibly other places if consumed too often.

"Wine is a little too erudite. Martinis are too pompous. Beer is a great choice."

Isn't the word erudite a little too erudite? :P

Aw come on, Blue Moon isn't bad. They actually have a good summer ale.

I always had a soft spot for Honey Moon.

well Obama has the worst taste in beer. Followed by the Sgt... Joe wins the best tasting beer, and i though he didn't drink...

I just heard some wing-nut winging about President Obama is having Bud Light because" it isn't American" (recently bought by some Dutch co. now) This is so dumb. I am sure the folks working at the Budweiser brewery in St. Louis will be happy someone has chosen their beer.
