'Jon & Kate' To Continue, But No More Couch

PASADENA, Calif. — Jon and Kate Gosselin are over, but "Jon & Kate Plus 8" continues. TLC president Eileen O'Neill says the popular reality show, which has been on hiatus since the Gosselins announced their split in June, returns Monday with new episodes that document the Gosselins "separately parenting" their eight children.

O'Neill says the iconic sofa from which the couple addressed the camera is gone and replaced by "separate interview chairs." TLC will "continue to capture this family's journey in a respective and sensitive way," she says.

O'Neill made her comments at a meeting of the Television Critics Association.

TBH, I'll be shocked if the ratings don't go in the tank. The audience for this show watched because it was entertaining to see how a family with 8 kids made it work. I can't imagine anyone other than the most jaded misanthropes garnering any entertainment from watching a show that has clearly been the major cause of this family's disintigration.

This show should be canceled..­.didn't care for it from the beginnining but especially now with the 2 of them dating other people. Get the kids of the show and do 2 shows, one for him, one for her, on their private life if that's the case. I'm sure the kids are gonna be so embarassed when they realize all of the fodder from their childhood.

Jon and Kate are both narcissitic, money grabbing jerks who have latched on to the show of their 8 little meal tickets and won't let go. TLC is in this for the money and has no conscience about the psycological damage and exploitation these children are enduring. Do not watch this trainwreck of the show. Someone will post the names of the shows advertisers and we need to contact them with concerns, using the words boycott several times.. This is the only way this shameful display will stopI

I think the only thing that people "learn" from the The Learning Channel (TLC) is that if you go to a fertility clinic and birth a bunch of cute little babies (either with IVF or au natural)..­.you too can have your own 30 minute program.

The only difference between Jon & Kate is they are married. And getting coporate welfare from TLC and all the freebies from coporations.
