Rudy

Rudy Giuliani was on Hannity's Fox News show Thursday night and agreed with President Obama that the Henry Gates arrest was a "teachable moment." The lesson? "Shut up."

"He's actually right. It is teachable. Here's the lesson: Shut up" when confronted by a police officer, the former mayor of New York City said.

Giuliani went on to criticize President Obama's economic policy, claiming: "So far the damage that the Obama administration has done to our economy is very, very serious. I think more than any President has done ever, in a short period of time."

Police brutality in New York City reached new heights of depravity when Giuliani was Mayor. Does anyone remember sadistic cops shouting “Giuliani Time” as they beat suspects?

America's Mayor turned out to be nothing but a bad joke. He had twenty truckloads of smelly baggage trailing behind him.

Giuliani is wrong! Why is it okay for him to offer his opinion about a 'local' matter in a different state, but not President Obama? Why is it so hard for some people to respect President Obama's 1st Amendment rights?

I'm shocked we're still having these types of discussions in 2009!

A man or woman of whatever color has a right to say what they want in their home. He proved that was his home and the rest is Bull Hocky. Get a grip and quit trying to keep us in our so call place by your comment. People of color are on the battle fields oversea fighting for the same rights that you enjoy. I would love for some cop to come into my house talking crap to me. he would not like the out come, and I am not talking about violence. You jsut got to know your rights as an American citizen. Those rights apply to all of us regardless of race, creed or color.

Please get one thing clear, NO ONE IS FIGHTING FOR RIGHTS OR FREEDOMS IN IRAQ or AFGHANISTAN. for you to suggest it is reminiscent of republicans waving flags and making country songs about the statue of liberty "waving her fists", its pathetic. what do people of color have to do with giuliani being right or WRONG? If you knew your rights you would not write a comment like you have. NEVER believe that anyone else is fighting for YOUR rights. it is not possible.

Giuliani isn't commenting on a local matter..... Giuliani is commenting on a nationwide controversy.... it became a national controversy when Obama spoke about it... ill informed....

Obama has the right to make a fool out of himself..... and his critics have the right to call him out on it.... Why are you against the 1st amendment rights of Obama's critics???

Here we go again. Why are you still using the same tired political smear regarding Rev Wright? He DOESN'T have anything to do with this situation.

The attempts at making Obama own this economic mess he inherited is mind-boggling and so transparent. Its not working. They make Obama own ever down-turn of the stock markets until the stock markets stopped sinking, than they were as quite as mice. Its as pathetic as MIchelle Malkin's garvage of a book attempting to label this 6 month old Administration as the most corrupt EVER.

Major case of projection. Like I've never seen

no we're not holding Obama responsible for the debt he inherited we're holding him responsible for quadrupling it!

Open your mind, son!

Please take your own advice. President Obama is trying to clean up a complex mess left by the previous administration.

guliani was known primarily for being a failed mayor before 9/11 revived his career, due only to the complete ineptness of bush and the republicans in dc.

Rudy wanted ex president Bush to pick his friend for the homeland security post. The same friend the was under investigation for illegal actives. So, it do as I say and not as I do. Now, he wants to instruct people how to conduct themselves, like the example he set in his prior marriage. Brilliant.

This is the same mayor that under his reign, one black man was shot 40 times by police while holding up his wallet, and another while in custody got beaten and sodomized with a toilet plunger to an inch of his life. A mayor that the recurrence of such acts during his term came to be label as "Giuliani time", with the help of the man that started as his driver later to be promoted to Police Captain of NYC.

The man that the entire NY Fire Dept. holds accountable for the un-nessessary death of some of it's members during 9-11.
