Mark Scobbie, a 19-year-old British man who should pursue a trade other than thieving, was caught with his pants down, hanging from a vent while trying to break into the Behind The Wall bar in Falkirk, England, the BBC reports. Scobbie now faces 19 months of jail for "intent of committing theft."
After slipping in through an air duct on the building's roof, he became stuck in the confined space 10ft above the floor of the pub's kitchen.
He removed his clothes and tried to wriggle free - but barman Lewis Stewart spotted his naked legs and buttocks through gaps in the vents where grilles had been removed in preparation for cleaning.
And on top of it all, Scobbie was covered head to toe in black grease when police and rescuers freed him from the air duct, adding insult to insult to injury, according to the BBC.
