Tim Meadows Shaves His Head On 'Late Night' (VIDEO)

Tim Meadows went on Jimmy Fallon's show last night and let the host and guest Ashley Tisdale shave his head. Granted, he had already had the top cut off for a film role, so he didn't look worse afterwards, but it was still an odd first for late night.

Tim Meadows mostly sucks. But, he was a part of one of my all time favorite SNL skits. "Russell Simmons' Def Magic Show Jam." I don't know why, but I laugh out loud every time I watch this.

Thirty years ago, Burt Reynolds shaved off HALF his mustache on Johnny Carson. Then he held paper over the two sides of his face so the audience could vote on which they liked more. The mustache won and he looked chagrined. Of course, it was all a set-up for a movie he then made, with no mustache.

SColbert had a great reason to get shaved; This was a very sad attempt to boost much needed attention to both of these plunging careers. I can't believe that I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather watch an old rerun of Arsenio rather than JFallon.

A "first for late night?" I seem to recall Stephen Colbert doing this just a scant few weeks ago. And letterman had his "strike beard" shaved on the air. A quite similar bit.
