Chicago Tribune:

Yes, I know there is much to dislike about the parking-meter deal in Chicago -- the city arguably didn't get its money's worth, prices have quadrupled, it's almost impossible now to swoop in and use someone else's expired time and the hours when you have to pay have been increased.

But there are things to like about it.

There is nothing more ludacris and despicable in the world than someone writing an article finding the good points of this new parking meter deal. More parking in shopping areas......are you kidding?!!!!!! Do you know how many businesses are suffering because of this deal? Has there been anyone to tell you about this phenomena or are you just concerned about a parking spot for yourself.
Did anybody bother to tell you that there are a lot of people unemployed and the economy does not favor people who don't have the bankroll for a parking meter? I saw a guy arguing with a parking violations officer for a 5 minute passing on his allotted time and was coming down from a job interview to feed the meter. He got a ticket. Does this make you feel warm and fuzzy Mr. Zorn?
How about this one, I was at a post office on the north side of town and got a ticket for going over my time. You know what was funny about that......I was in line at a government run facility that was built with 8 windows to take customers and in mid day (weekday) there were only two open, a line out the door and no free parking for customers. People are suffering Mr. Zorn and this article is creepy at best.

Please find something better to do with your writing skills.
