For people who have trouble falling asleep, bedtime is the start of the most stressful part of the day. Instead of tossing and turning, try some of our suggestions to help you rock yourself to sleep. Some are not new, but are so often forgotten. Consider this your reminder.


Do Breathing Exercises
 
Since ancient times, breathing techniques have been used to calm and balance the mind and body. Make sure to use diaphragmatic breathing, for which you allow air to expand your belly, rather than breathing shallowly into your chest alone.
