i stayed at a hotel in brooklyn where i was munched on by bedbugs. the manager was very courteous and credited my account for the room but i had welts for a month because i am allergic to the bites. when i stay anywhere near NYC on business or pleasure i take my allersac travel sheet and nontoxic bedbug spray. makes you wish for a return of DDT.
