Jessica Simpson appears on the cover of the September issue of 'Glamour,' her first cover since Tony Romo broke up with her on the eve of her 29th birthday. In an interview that took place before the breakup, she discussed her relationship, her weight and her new VH1 reality series, 'The Price of Beauty.'

You can read the entire 'Glamour' story here.

On relationships:
"I don't regret anything I've gone through.... I don't know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn't change. I'm very happy and comfortable--it's a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we're not together, I'd still love [Tony], and he'd still be a huge part of who I am today."

On body image:
"It's not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I've been through it myself and understand the pressures. We're all facing the same struggles together, whether you're a celebrity or not."

On her divorce:
"It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete--and that's the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person."

I know many young women who cannot stand being single and feel incomplete without a boyfriend. Some of them would rather have a loser than no one. It's sad. I agree- Jessica is not talented enough to do anything other than look good. She's got plenty of company.

Do not compare death to a divorce.

I saw on the cover of another magazine where it said Romo dumped her because he wanted someone younger and thinner.

Younger? She's 29! Thinner? Has Romo seen the movie Dukes of Hazzard? Maybe if Romo was in that kind of shape he could win a playoff game.

Don't believe everything you read. Maybe he just didn't want a Cling-on who was way into Barbie and Ken.

Good luck Jessica. It must really suck to go through a public break up. Don't talk about it, it is the kiss of death. There are millions of men out there that would love to date you. You will be fine, you are a strong person.

Life is too short to spend too much time dwelling on any one thing. If you don't talk about it, it will go away alot faster in the media. Being happy is the best revenge!!

I'm so tired of her. She hasn't been relevant in years. Her music flops. So do her movies. She's a terrible actress, an overly-affected singer, and only known now for her weight fluctuations and failed relationships. Next!

She sounds like she is giving advice. I hope people do the opposite.

In other words, do NOT attempt to marry every guy you date, avoid mom jeans and if you have a creepy father as your manager, ditch him.

Its frankly weird how pretty women in interviews seem to be *compelled* to use the word 'regret' in interviews. It's like a convention nowadays. If the interviewee is young and pretty she must be forced to publically 'regret' her nude publlicity photo shoot, or her last film role, or her choice in men, or her relationship with her mother, or her wardrobe choices, or her lifestyle choices, or her tattoo. Tabloids LOVE the word 'regret'.

Except for being over shadowed by the more famous Simpson’s_Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and Maggie. The later being the vastly more talented branch of the Simpson family.

Regret requires a level of introspection that Jessica does not possess.

Good luck, Jess! Stop behaving like a doormat - otherwise you'll be like Jennifer Alone-iston in ten years - very sad and very lonely ...

There's nothing sad and lonely about being a successful woman who is dating. Are you stuck in the nineteenth century or what? Perhaps Jessica would be better off dating for a while to see what's out there. Anyway, there is no law saying you have to get married. Women are the worst perpetrators of this idiotic "sad and lonely" single myth. Women should be able to stay single and date like men do, without the judgment.
