Post Office May Close 24 City Sites

The Postal Service is considering closing 24 retail sites in Chicago, among 1,000 closures being considered nationally as it faces a potential $7 billion loss this fiscal year.

Why don't they just force their lazy inept help to take a pay cut. Most of them do not do much to earn a paycheck.

Why would they close the downtown post offices? The only time I ever use the post office is when I'm at work...downtown

Ugh... I don't have to go to the post office that often.. but when I do, the 200 E randolph location is super convenient. It seems like they are closing all of the downtown/loop/mag mile locations. What a pain.

I think the post office gets a bad rap. Maybe they're not super duper friendly, but they get the job done.

The last time I was in the Post Office, they were out of forever stamps. Didn't seem like a good sign.
