As one whose father suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, that picture of Reagan always chokes me up. I may have grown up in a family of dyed in the wool democrats, but I appreciate his struggles and courage, and the strength of Nancy to deal with that horrible disease. Happy Birthday to our president now, and those who came before.
