Craig Ferguson & Jeffrey Tambor Spoof CBS PSAs (VIDEO)

Craig Ferguson and "Arrested Development" patriarch Jeffery Tambor satirized the "CBS Cares" PSAs that run regularly on the network last night. Both men dressed in drag, imitating JK Rowling and "Twilight" author Stephanie Meyer. Instead of encouraging kids to read, the pair celebrated their riches with a money fight.

Later in the show Craig read viewer email. One man asked, "I know CBS cares, do you care, Craig?" "No, I don't give a rats ass actually," he responded.

Craig's monologue is the most free-wheeling, personal and spontaneous in late night. And he makes great TV out of nothing.

And, interestingly, I know a blog that's doing nothing but Craig clips today.

You're totally right. His is the only monologue that can make me laugh out loud on a regular basis. Why is this man on so late at night? He deserves better.

I don't think that he'd be as effective if he were on earlier. He'd have to clean up a lot of his stuff and it might be too restrictive. I am amazed that he keeps me laughing tho'.

I love Craig Ferguson. He's a gifted comedian. My only complaint about his show is that his Prince Charles impression gives me nightmares. ;-)
