NEW YORK — According to Czech supermodel Karolina Kurkova, pregnancy is the new black.

"You know, it's probably the new thing to be pregnant. It's not to have the Chanel python bag. It's to be pregnant," she says.

Kurkova isn't kidding. The 25-year-old joins fellow Victoria Secret models Adriana Lima, Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum, who are also expecting.

This will be the first child for Kurkova, who plays a runway model-turned-spy in "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," and her film producer-fiance, Archie Drury.

She jokes that she's already got a "manny" for her baby boy, due in the fall – co-star Dennis Quaid.

As for baby names, Kurkova won't say.

"There are a few names that we like. But I'm keeping them a secret," she says. "I don't want Adriana or Heidi or Gisele stealing my baby's name."

Let's face it - models aren't known for their brains, and Ms. Kurkova proves that. A baby bump as a fashion accessory? Give me a break.

She is very sweet. I met her at the Vogue Party in Paris a few years ago at the Hotel Athene. However, I never found her to be very attractive from a model point of view. Yes she is very, very tall which is great for the collections but...

When someone is that stupid, who cares if they're sweet.

I know she meant it as a joke, but this is a wonderful remark and the perfect description of the society.

Babies are NOT props, but if you are going to judge its inappropriateness, then how horrible is it of you to say the baby should contact the Menendez brothers?

Babies aren't props. What an ignorant thing to say. I think her baby should contact the Menendez brothers once they get here.
