Aljulah Cutts, Hasib Cutts Arrested In Murder Of Holocaust Survivor
NEW YORK (AP) - Police have arrested two brothers in the strangling of an 89-year-old man in his New York City apartment.
Aljulah (Al-Juhl'-ah) Cutts and his brother Hasib (Ha-seeb) were arrested Friday and are being held at the 19th precinct in Manhattan. It's not clear if they have attorneys.
Police say murder charges are pending. They're accused of helping a woman rob and strangle Guido Felix Brinkmann in Upper East Side apartment on July 30.
Police arrested 30-year-old Angela Murray last week. She is being held without bail on second-degree murder and robbery charges. Police say they found Brinkmann's safe and some of his tax papers and an ID in her apartment.
Witnesses reported seeing a man and a woman enter Brinkmann's apartment then leave in his car the night he died.
