Ain't they suppose to be competitors?
If Bill-O didn't LIE - he wouldn't have a show
"Cease-fire"? Sounds to me like they're trying to limit media criticism which is a big lose-lose for us consumers.
I hope that Keith and Rachel stick around. They have been responsible for a renaissance of sorts at MSNBC. If they were to leave, it would create a black hole that MSNBC would never recover from. MSNBC now enjoys a loyal following specifically because of its evening programming, and Keith and Rachel are a major part of that effort.
If Keith and/or Rachel quit MSNBC as a consequence of this corporate parent sticking its nose where it doesn't belong, then MSNBC will do a nosedive in its ratings. I hope that the GE exec has the good sense to stay clear of this and let Keith and Rachel do their thing.
Since when does Faux do news? Every time I have happened to see a clip, mostly on The Daily Show, they are doing opinion, not news! And they pull so much s**t out of their butts, listening to them is like watching some kind of weird comedy show. Why? Because the stuff they make up is so far over the top it's hilarious.
Keith and Rachel tell it like it is. The corporate honchos need to stay the hell out of censoring the two best reporters MSNBC has. Someone has to call Faux out when they make up s88t and call it news.
First of all, you need to watch something other than a comedy show for your news and opinions.
I thought Keith and Rachel had opinion shows, also - at least that is the excuse used often when someone critizes them - they are commentators, not journalists! ALL of them are nothing more than commentators - MSNBC, FOX, CNN - mostly commentating - giving their opinions.
Why is this so easy to see in the channels we decide not to like, but not in those we do?
Fox Noise should d i e under the weight of its own misery, stupidity, and ignorance. I hope Murdoch loses his shirt and is forced to sell pencils on the street corners of New York City.
I would be happy if he went home to Australia and wreck there political discourse,
Roger Alles said that Faux could control their commentators, so I guess it is true they have an ideology that is counter to the US and their commentators go along with it, while MSNBC practices free speech. What a surprise.
Keith has enough money to quit MSNBC if it comes down to it. It'll be a sad day if that happens, but if Keith Olbermann has to quit MSNBC to keep his integrity and stand up for his beliefs, I'm all for it.
Besides - if he and Rachel end up leaving MSNBC, I'll have an excuse to never watch television.
I hope that both Keith and Rachel stay and work towards building upon their success at MSNBC. Some day I would love to see MSNBC become a real force in politics -- where the truth is held in the highest esteem and corruption is exposed whenever and wherever it rears its ugly head.
If Keith and/or Rachel were to leave, MSNBC would suffer a precipitous drop in its ratings. I hope that Immelt has the common sense to see and understand that the increase in ratings at MSNBC is exclusively attributable to it shifting its editorial position more to the left. People are tired of the lies and the nonsense that emanate from the right. The loss of either Keith or Rachel would be devastating to MSNBC. Period.
MSNBC can't keep Joe Scarboro from attacking their own Chuck Todd - how would they ever get KO to stop being KO?
The morning joe is the only show that has any debate on msmbc . Maybe thats the reason fox beats them 2 to 3 to 1
Too bad ratings aren't based on facts, huh?
Keith is in over his head.
Really, than why is Fox loosing money, as well as advertisers, there demographic is getting old.
??? yea right . . . .
and Bush was the greatest President we ever had . . . . .
Keith had me when he criticized GWB before it was the popular thing to do.
I'll always be a loyal fan.
MSNBC> We need Keith. He is one of two truth fighters and honest reporters.
