Presidents And First Ladies In Swimsuits: From Buttoned-Up To Barely Clothed (PHOTOS, POLL)

We were inspired by French First Lady Carla Bruni and President Nicolas Sarkozy who tested the waters at Cap Negre last weekend, and Barack and Michelle Obama, who will soon be Vineyard-bound. During summers-past, presidents and first ladies around the world have been spotted wearing swimcaps, doing waterobics, and dancing by the sea. Get thee to a body of water, but beforehand, check out the bods on these politicians and their spouses in swimsuits.

I'm just posting this here to see if it will eventually [finally] get posted!

The first time I posted this it was deleted. Not merely held up in "pending" until there was a sufficient number of pages to 'bury' it hundreds of posts back.... but deleted completely. That really annoys me, because it happens way too often if you ask me!

Anyway, since we are being invited to LOOK and CRITIQUE politicians and spouses in swimsuits, I expect my opinion to be allowed like everyone else's, Thankyouverymuch!

Why didn't anyone help and intervene for that woman??
She is absolutely skeletal; and had been for most of her public life. How come no one [was] screaming how "unhealthy" she was at that weight?
They surely would have been if she was 40 lbs overweight! But there she is a good 40 lbs. UNDER-weight, and she's all admired for her petite-ness and fashion choices.....

America is really screwed up about body image.... and Nancy Reagan and her 'style' of skeletal remains didn't help.
