ABC Slams Katherine Heigl: Her Whining Is 'Unfortunate'

ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson responded to Katherine Heigl's latest gripe about starring in a hit TV show.

"I think it's unfortunate," McPherson told TV critics about her comments. "People are going to behave in the way they choose to behave. There are so many people who work so hard on 'Grey's,' and all of our shows, without any notoriety and those are the ones I'd be concerned about, people who feel like they're being criticized or looked down upon."

The producers must thank their lucky star that Ellen Pompeo and that other actress Chyler Leigh are the ones who got pregnant. One can only imagine the drama if Ms Heigl was the one expecting.I already hear her saying how she's reduced to slavery by heartless bosses.

I love you Katherine. I won't be watching "Grey's" without TR though. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Love that you support TR Katherine, I think that's awesome. You're very talented and I like all your movies!

It's not that she whined this one time about one long day at work, it's that she's turning into a habitual whiner.

Also, it's in very poor taste for someone who makes $200,000 per day to complain about working conditions when millions of Americans are unemployed and truly suffering. A lot of people have worked 17 hours days, rarely do the ones who are as lucky as she complain publicly about it.

In isolation, that would be true. Her problem, however, is cumulative. There was an incident last year where she basically said she shouldn't be nominated for an emmy because the writing given to her was so bad. Now that's class! No, "I can think of other people who deserve it so much more than me, etc" She just trashed the writers of her own show.

Besides, she had to do a single 17-hour-day (and got paid at least $200K for it) partly because production had to be shifted to accommodate her movie promo schedule.

I think she's trying to get fired,but she's creating a monstrous image that she won't be able to live down. She seems to think that she's the main attractions in her movies, hint for you Kath, you're not. Get a grip honey, or better yet go look at the careers of David Caruso, McClean Stephenson, Larry Linville, Sean Young, etc.......

Or worse, like David Caruso, on a hit TV franchise like CSI: Miami (albeit, a really stupidly written show).

Or like Sean Young, living in Arizona. I've lived in Arizona. Believe me, you're better off on CSI: Miami.

Uh... who is "McClean Stephenson"?

Katherine, you better watch out or you wind up just like Larry Linville: dead.

(I wrote this before but it didn't get past the censors... I guess they thought I was issueing a death threat. That is not the case. Larry Linville died nine years ago due in small part to his smoking. I apologize if anybody is offended by this. My dad died of the same problems a couple of years before Larry Linville. My point was the ridiculousness of the citation.)

Heigl's biting of the hand is pretty close to ending her career, unless ofcourse she thinks she can make it on the big screen. But oh wait, all her films make TOTAL of what most major movies make in the opening week lol.
