I would like to see under-18 teens declared off-limits for the news-rags and the paparazzi.
"Pretty Baby" was a good movie. Brooke looked older: http://www
Almost all these kids got some form of celebrity justice. The Brooke Shields one should almost be considered child prostitution. And don't defend it cause the parents gave consent or "it's artistic," its parents getting rich off the exploitation of a child, end of story. Vanessa is twice scorned, yet Disney will keep her because she's worth a lot of money, "child prostitution once again." Chris Brown should be serving at least some jail time, certainly not "probation" in a dance club talking to more chicks. Brit rightfully lost her children, but is back to making music and millions even though she should be in jail. The crime.....
I happened to catch "Pretty Baby" on cable awhile ago, I had never heard of this film before. I lived in Amsterdam for some time, I consider myself a pretty sexually liberal person...b
We are happy for all of them! Here are all the scandals:
http://www
I remember Rob Lowe's scandal, and it sickened me to the core. It hurt his credibility, I think, with the recent accusations from women working in his household. He was not a teen when the sex tapes were in the news but an adult who should have known better but didn't. I do hope that Chris Brown is young enough that he can learn from his major mistakes and move beyond then. If not, then he deserves everything he gets back.
Having the Chris Brown domestic violence case in the same category as Britney and Miley is ridiculous. Chris Brown cheating on Rhianna would have been scandalous. Chris Brown beating Rhianna is a crime!! Putting it in the same category as nude or semi-nude celebrity photos completely trivializes a serious issue that kills a lot of people (mostly women) in the United States.
I'm really disappointed in the "celebrity journalism" of the Huffington Post.
Britney's 'decline' was sad to see. It was worse seeing the large-scale cruelty that went with it. She became the collective abuse object for this culture. I think the public itself is scandal #1. Rev. Bookburn - Radio Volta
Agree 100%.
But don't you think Britney had something to do with that? These celebrities covet media attention until they're on the front page of the USA Today for kissing Madonna and then ask for their personal problems to be discussed in private. You can't have your fame cake and eat it too. Why can't most celebs be like Denzel Washington or Johnny Depp. The only time you hear about those two is when they're promoting a new movie, not when they're shaving their heads or getting married in Vegas. I have no sympathy for these Media hogs. NO SYMPATHY WHATSOEVER.
Yep, just because you're a celebrity doesn't mean you have to live in Los Angeles. Plenty of celebs avoid the spotlight by simply living elsewhere, and not going out every night to clubs and restaurants which are KNOWN for being filled with paparazzi.
There are plenty of celebrities, in addition to the ones you list above, who you never hear anything about in the tabloids, despite being just as famous, or more so, than Britney Spears. it's easy to stay out of the spotlight when you're not constantly making a spectacle of yourself.
Seconded. This is getting ridiculous.
We either reward bad people by making them celebritie
I am posting a comment about the Miley Cyrus video. First of all that video with her dancing around the pole is not teaching teens anything but wanting to be dancers themselves. They look up to her. One person commented that she had to use the pole to grab on to because she had nothing else to hold on to while dancing on the ice-cream cart. Not true. She could have danced on the ice-cream cart without the pole like it was a dance stage. That is my point, my fact. People can't just stick up for her because they like her. They need to face reality. These movie stars can't just think of themselves, they need to think how it affects their fans. If it was my daughter watching, I guarantee she wouldn't be anymore.

The ice-cream cart was moving and it was not that big. She could have fallen. Come on now.
"These movie stars can't just think of themselves, they need to think how it affects their fans."
That used to be the case, in previous generations.
I'm only 37 (yes folks, I helped to build Stonehenge!), but the media (in general) has taken a huge roll down a hill of sleaze, by tolerating if not promoting such activities
Get your Stonehenge off my lawn.
I say this all the time...Cel
Holding on to a pole while dancing is a lot different from pole dancing. Would you have been upset it they'd bolted an umbrella to the cart and she hold it?
Chris Brown is ghastly. The most entertaining? Britney Spears finally doing something interesting and shaving her head in public. Combined with the overeating, horrible MTV 'performance' and child endangerment? She'll NEVER be so interesting again!
And we continue to support these idiots? For what? For them to do bad and then write a book about redemption? Give me a break!
"and we are not saved..."
This is the best "news" to be reported today? What they ran out of news? So they have resorted to rehashing old news, 1988? lol
