The cynic in me says that when you consider where his career has gone since "Crossing Jordan" left the air this is a good career move.
Good for him.
The school has a program for people with schedule problems. Perfect for a family man.
Congrats on the new career path.
I'm guessing he's planning on finally getting even for "Joe's Apartment" and "Kangaroo Jack".. he's going to sue the stuffing out of hollywood.
Wow. What a man. Smart, handsome and rich.
Damn Rebecca, you are a lucky lady.
Good for him. I LOVED Jerry in "Sliders," and of course "Stand By Me." But he seems to have petered acting wise after "Crossing Jordan" ended. This seems like a good move.
i'm surprised he's going to such a crappy law school. i'm sure he could have gotten into USC, UCLA, or Loyola, which are all tier 1 schools.
Why are you sure? He doesn't seem like the brightest bulb to me....
It probably has a more liberal policy about scheduling and gives him flexibility.
Former LA Mayor Tom Bradley went to Southwestern, wound up mayor, ran for governor and wound up at a big law firm. I'm glad Southwestern recruits students to their evening program and otherwise makes schedule accommodations. I think Loyola has a night program too, but in the past, parking was hard on their cramped campus. UCLA and USC are about their day students.
Good for him.
He's made a really smart move. At 35, he's kind of peaked acting wise, so this is a wise transition. I think he set himself up nicely for this by attending college in the 90's. Seems like he's maybe always had his eye on doing something like this. I would be weird to hire him as a lawyer though, to be honest. You have to admit it's going to be hard to take him seriously in the future, if he makes it.
That's only true for female actors. Men can have roles for a long time. I like him tho. Compared to a lot of actors, he seems relatively unaffected and down to earth.
I got my engineering degree at 23 and at 44 decided I wanted to be a lawyer. Five years later, I was.
That is so cool! I always liked him in Crossing Jordan.
Wow -- I didn't see that coming. I always assume he was a doofus. Good for him...
