Police Called To Jon And Kate Gosselin's House After Fight

When Kate Gosselin appeared on Monday's Today show, she told host Meredith Vieira that she still loves her soon-to-be ex, "the Jon I knew." However, the stars of TLC's Kate & Jon Plus 8 seem to have lost that loving feeling.

Around 6 p.m. Thursday, police arrived at the Gosselin family home in Wernersville, Pa., where the exes were engaged in a verbal argument. It's not clear who placed the call to the authorities.

Their kids deserve privacy through all of this. Even though the parents have created spectacles of themselves, they have no right to exploit their children for fame and fortune. Take the kids out of it. From now on, let "Jon and Kate Without 8" swim (or sink) on their own.

Both parents can afford to have their own homes in the same school district.

If I were the family court judge handling this case, I would ORDER these two into counseling not for reconciliation but for help with learning how to behave as adults for the sake of the well-being of their children.
And I would set down some firm rules about who babysits the kids, who spends the night at the house (read: no exposing the kids to paramours. PERIOD!) and that neither parent is to disparage the other in front of the children.
The first violation of this order would land the offending party in jail for contempt of a court order. AND NO TV CAMERAS WOULD BE ALLOWED IN THE SLAMMER WHILE THEY WERE IN THERE.
These parents are sadly out of control and the children cannot be coming through this unscathed.

What was wrong with the caretaker? It seemed to me that she never trusted her husband to do things right, and micromanaged everything. She's still trying to do it after filing for divorce.

That's what I was thinking. She's such a control freak, even after her failed marriage. I guess she hasn't learned much. I feel so bad for those kids.

- Kate seems not able to get along with her parents that they are not part of her children's lives.
- She refused to have her brother's family get into the TLC payroll.
- Reports state she has fired housekeepers and babysitters.
- Does she have any real friend because we haven't seen one.
- She seems to be rude to TLC associates and even threw a dirty diaper on one.
- She aggravates TV viewers.
All these seem to show that she is the common denominator to the problems.

- She demands peace yet she seems not ta peaceful person at all. She is full of demands in life, some even unrealistic demands, but she, herself, cannot achieve her demands, nor is there an effort to.

- She had the chance to change, but she seemed to be too arrogant for change. She's crying now probably because she is not getting her way anymore. She's even asking how she got into "all these". She's just clueless or PREFERS NOT TO FACE THE TRUTH. Dr. Phil says what you don't admit, you cannot change.

How'd she feel if somebody treated her like she treats people -- that would really hurt her, right? VIEWERS WOULD TAKE PITY OF HER IF THERE IS A SIGN OF REMORSE IN HER, BUT HOW CAN ONE HAVE REMORSE IF ONE THINKS ONE'S WAYS ARE OK AND ACCEPTABLE.

Last week, radaronline showed this, um, "caretaker" spent the night at Jon's garage/apartment he stays when he's at the mansion (and I don't get how that's right, a father not staying under the same roof as his kids, anyway --).

Btw, she's the shooter girl at the local sports-bar and at 22, has a toddler. Hardly Julie Andrews/Sound of Music material here, eh?

Judging by the drop in ratings for this train wreck of a television show, I would hope that viewers have decided to make better choices than to watch this program (and others like it!). Perhaps this drop in ratings will mean that no American network buys the Octomom reality series--yes, I know that's wishful thinking, but still. . .

I used to watch this show and now I refuse to watch this show because of all the media hype. This family needs to get out of the limelight. One article had Kate saying that "she didn't know she got into this". All of us could bend her ear for a long time telling her how she got into this mess.
