Mary J. Blige and Shania Twain are both great picks to be guest judges. Both of them had tremendous success as solo artists (which is what the winner of American Idol is) in specialized genres of music, and neither of them have to rely on the celebrity status of their husbands to garner attention. Posh, on the other hand, was the weakest link in her group and she has not produced any critically acclaimed music in the last few years. I think Whitney Houston would also be a good pick to be a guest judge.

I hope they don't pick Posh. Why do we need 2 british judges for an American show? Are there no Americans qualified enough to be a judge? Give me a break, the show is called American Idol, after all. No more british accent, please. I don't watch anymore, so i don't know why i even care.
