Inside Phil Spector's Life Sentence: Death Threats And Visits From His Model Wife

Music legend-cum-murderer Phil Spector is whining about being locked up in a "snake pit" of a prison with such other high-profile killer nutjobs as Charles Manson and Sirhan Sirhan -- but California corrections officials say Spector is full of beans.

"Imagine sending me to the same prison -- shows how low they can go," fumes Spector in a letter to a buddy, Bay Area music manager Steve Escobar.

Visits from his "model" wife? She poses ONCE in Playboy and is forever touted as a
"model?" Oh please. Looking at Phil is no picnic, but looking at Rachelle Spector, 29 going on 45--look at that sagging face, you're going to need the size of a cement truck to fill in those crows' feet.

This crazy guy who gave us the "wall of sound" and many great recordings from artists was a nut job then and just became a more famous one until he started to play with guns in womens faces and then fianlly killed one with the same game done how many times before? I believe he deserves what killers get and yet he is in "soft serve" prison which isn't even close to what other "regular" killers get. He bitches about what his "wife" has to change into to see him but does not tell what slut clothes she probably brings with her to wear to visit him. When we have females visiting our in patient mental health ward we have them put on covering items as they are not appropriately dressed to visit the patients. What is worn in public takes on another role when the clothes are so revealing that someone who is mentally ill might not deal well with so just think about visiting even a light weight prison might do to someone who might really attack a private citizen visiting?

As I recall, describing someone as a "model" was just a euphemism for hooker. Someone should tell the current Mrs. Spector that Phil probably spent all the money on his legal defense - just like Robert Blake, of course in Blake's case, he got off.
