Sen. Jim DeMint Says America "Headed" To Becoming Like Iran

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) appeared on Hugh Hewitt's radio show today to continue his near daily rants against President Obama. DeMint, who has repeatedly boasted that he will "break" Obama by defeating health care reform, has made a habit of comparing government under Obama to fascism.

The daily rants against President Obama are clearly affecting Jim’s mind.
How else can one account for the downstream effects that placed his poor state in the cross hairs of national attention. But this can’t be the whole story.

Whatever else it was that the benighted state of S. Carolina did to displease the Roman gods that govern the affairs of men must have been a doozy.

How else can one explain the dual curse on the poor people of that state to put up with the loopy, love-starved Governor Sanford ("I will not resign") and also the limp-wristed, left-brain challenged Sen. Jim DeMint. This pair must certainly take top honors in the Dual Twit Competition, a feat unlikely to be matched among sane officials in U.S. Government circles in decades.

The credibility of people such as DeMint is a tragedy for this country. The idea that someone of his limited intellect should be a U.S. Senator is appalling.

As long as a vast majority of Americans have to be spoon-fed with information, the GOP would always get away with their fear mongering. Fear always works, especially in America where a lot of people believe what the media says. They don't have time to research, read, and for their own opinions.
