I don't really understand why Dowd has to write a column like this. She appears to be attempting to foment hatred of Wintour, whom I believe by the way, is not an admirable figure. But asking if she is human? Of course she is human. And just because she's not a particularly admirable character, doesn't mean anyone needs to hate her or use her as some focal point for the economic problems we are facing. She's not responsible for them in any way. I guess I will never understand Dowd, and I should stop trying.
