Heidi Pratt's Miss Universe Striptease (VIDEO)

The Miss Universe contestants were not the only ones to strut the stage in next to nothing Sunday night. Heidi Pratt, who didn't really strip for the September issue of Playboy, 'sang' her new song 'Body Language' while writhing around in a sparkly, nude-colored bra.

Heidi seemed pleased with the performance. "last night was one of the best nights of my life!!!! i had so much fun! my first performance! thank you God!" she tweeted this morning.

I know nobody really watches these pageant shows anymore, but that's no reason to put the viewers you still have through this kind of torture. Just wanted to mention the entire performance is very similar to Britney's from the VMAs a couple years back.

I watched the video a few days ago when it was first posted. I tried watching for second time just now, and had to abort half-way through. As I said previously, Heidi seems to think performance is a sort of on-the-job-training type career. She is the antithesis of a "born performer.­" She was obviously booked for the gawk factor. People tuned in (and viewed here) because they EXPECTED her to be bad. In this perverse way, she did not disappoint. Perhaps she and William Hung should go out on tour together. It the tickets were cheap enough, I think they could truly develop a cult following. Heidi represents all that is wrong with "entertrainment," and "celebrity" these days.
