Iraqi officials have released a video of a Saddam-era police official, Wissam Ali Kadhim Ibrahim, confessing to helping organize one of last week's bomb attacks on government buildings in Baghdad.
CNN reports that Ibrahim was identified by Iraqi officials as a former Ba'athist police chief, but his statement did not mention the bombing at the Foreign Ministry.
101 people were killed on Wednesday when truck bombs exploded outside Iraq's Foreign and Finance Ministries.
In his statement, Ibrahim said that he had received an order from his Baathist leader, Sattam Farhan, to "destabilize the regime", the BBC reports.
