K-Fed and his GF, along with a nanny and the giant minder, jumped a cab and stopped off for a two-hour stroll around the Central Park Zoo today while Brit prepared for tonight's performance.

K-Fed gets put down a lot, but he seems like a good dad to his kids and he really stepped up to the plate when Britney melted down. He never spoke badly about her during that time and the kids went from looking frightened and sad all the time to looking happy. He's a straight up kind of guy.

Speaking as a bread addict myself, that is probably a bit calous if accurate thing to say. When I stopped eating bread, and picked up the activity level, I lost 40lbs.

I give the guy credit for trying to care for his kids under preasure that few of us get exposed to.
