Obamas' Martha's Vineyard Vacation Day 4: First Family Hits The Beach, Lunches On Fried Seafood (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

After making remarks about the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy on Wednesday morning, President Obama accompanied his family to Oyster Watcha beach in Edgartown, where they spent two hours on a private beach, before proceeding to Nancy's, a restaurant in Oak Bluffs, for a takeout lunch.

The Obamas sat at a picnic table as they waited for two bags of fried seafood. With them was Konrad Ng, the president's brother-in-law, family friend Dr. Eric Whitaker, and assistant White House press secretary Tommy Vietor (who recently became engaged to Michelle Obama's spokswoman Katie McCormick Lelyveld). 8-year-old Sasha sat on her father's lap, and Michelle Obama tried to remove sand from 11-year-old Malia's hair. The president also shook hands and posed for pictures with the restaurant's staff and patrons.

When the food was ready, they continued on to the nearby home of Valerie Jarrett, with whom they also ate dinner last night.

The OBAMAs are on vacation, they should not kill their vacation because Ted transition to a more perfec place, I agree with his son, he outlived the years Zeus has given him, the Kennedy's are the Mtyhical 7, the Pleades, and there is yet a brighter, more utopian, more spiritual, more stable America ahead of us, it will not be long before we look back on 2008-2010 and realized that the GOP was screaming like Aliens from some distant star system whose reign on earth is about to be vanquished. The American Enlightenment period is about to begin in a short few months, wether it be 1 month or 96 months, be ready, watch, and continue to Hope and believe, however the greatest achievement any good soul can make is to continually persevere and you will gain the Glory and Grace of GOD and the lesser Gods who are all guides for the human soul. Yes, Democrats are decendents of the Pleades, the OBAMAs are decendents of Serius, Orion and Pleadian dynasty, yeah I know, open your eye, the GOP can't touch what they didn't create, the OBAMAS are the light that shall remove the logs from their eyes, thou fools!

It's wonderful seeing the First Family relaxing on the Vineyard. It's sad that Teddy passed this week and that will, of course, put a bit of a damper on their trip. But, the vineyard is a perfect place to comtemplate EMK's life. The Cape and Islands were in Ted's soul and his soul will forever reside there. I think this trip will give him the strength to complete the work that Ted held so dear.

Not only is this encouraging to see the first family together, it is necessary. With the daily barrage of negative news and insults about the president it is almost mandatory that they show the president and his family as being just like any American family. The conservative media spends 90% of their time dehumanizing the president. Because of their efforts it makes it easy for the wing nuts to do and say unspeakable things about the president and not have a conscience. Because they have none that's how they gain more traction and support. It's important to show this family doing things together. Which is common practice for them, before going to the White house. It is particularly important to put a human face on the presidency. If the Obamas were white it wouldn't be an issue and it's really sad that it is an issue. I love the Obamas and my good thoughts are with them daily.

Indulge me for a moment...

Our 20 year old daughter is planning to join the Air Force in a few weeks. She begged us to take one more summer vacation together before she leaves. I lost my job last year and money's tight. But, we used to go to the Outer Banks every summer and that was her wish. So, I used some Marriott points and got a free hotel about 40 miles away and we made day trips to the Banks.

We went to all our favorite places, had banana splits every day, tons of fried oysters...­and it was the best vacation ever! Our greatest gift as parents is to make beautiful memories for our children. My daughter said it was the best vacation ever. God Bless the Obama family and I hope the children grow up and their memories of people calling their father names is minimized and what they hold on to are the trips to the beach where Sasha sat in Daddy's lap and Mommy shook the sand out of Malia's hair...

Thank you for the indulgence. It brought back treasured moments and times spent with my parents. I am financially blessed, but have not always been so. It seems the little things, that cost nothing, garnered the best memories and the greatest fun.

Thank heavens we finally have a first family that is NORMAL. It is an ongoing delight and privilege. The President has good common sense and we need to listen to him.

The last First family was plenty normal (at least as much as any First Family), even if the father was a fool plunging our nation into disarray. And the First Family before that was normal, even if the father was working side options.

I think what we like best about this First Family, is that they still have a little kid. And that they are so very good looking.

The Obama's, on the other hand, brought themselves up from lower middle class families, fought for an education and made their life a testimony to what one can do with determination and a goal.
