Over 1800 Guitar Players In Texas Break The Guinness Record (WATCH)

1,857 guitar players in Luckenbach, Texas broke the Guinness World record for most guitar players playing simultaneously on August 23, taking the title from 1,802 Germans who played "Smoke on the Water" in June 2007.

Watch the Texas crowd play the "Luckenbach Song (Back to the Basics of Love)," winning the title back for the Americans, since the Germans had beaten the record set by 1,683 guitar players in Kansas City playing "Smoke on the Water":
