Sarah Palin Tells Friends: Watch Glenn Beck!

Sarah Palin is rallying her Facebook community behind Glenn Beck.

In a post on Facebook Wednesday morning titled, "An Invitation," Palin urged her 800,000-plus Facebook fans to watch the Fox News host (via Politico):

FOX News' Glenn Beck is doing an extraordinary job this week walking America behind the scenes of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and outlining who is actually running the White House.

Monday night he asked us to invite one friend to watch; tonight I invite all my friends to watch.

Beck is hardly having trouble in the ratings, and many of Palin's supporters fall squarely in the Beck target audience, but it will be interesting to see if he experiences a "Palin Bump."

Beck has come under fire for his remarks that President Obama is a racist, which has led dozens of advertisers to pull their sponsorship from his show.

It must have worked. Wednesday he didn't only beat the other cable news channels he even beat Bill Oreilly. They say he lost advertisers, but is gaining more & more viewers everyday. It almost seems like a grass root movement. It would not shock me to see Beck & Palin team up to try & take the White House in 2012.

To let a news network enjoy the loophole in FCC rules and not be compelled to provide accurate and factual news to a viewership that does not seem to know the difference, is to guarantee manipulation and distortion, referring to a Florida Supreme court ruling for Fox News.

If you really want to impact corporate media, get the FCC to close the loophole and require all news networks to provide the public with truth in broadcasting and/or define those shows, Beck's, that are commentary and therefore do not have to contain facts or truth. He said it himself, ‘I am not a journalist I am a commentator, I don't have to check facts”.
